The aim of the development plan is to provide an urban closure for the village of Drackendorf in a northerly direction and also to contribute to the continuing need for single-family house sites. Therefore, purely residential areas are defined in the plan area, in which only the construction of residential buildings as detached and semi-detached houses is permitted.

Part of the plan area lies in the landscape conservation area "Middle Saale Valley". Here, green areas with trees and shrubs will be created on former farmland, which will serve both as compensation for the encroachment on nature and the landscape and as greening and increasing the attractiveness of the emerging residential area.

The development is completely finished. The construction area is completely built on (as of June 2014).
