Plan content
The development plan creates building rights for teaching and research facilities (university uses) in the northern area and for a public parking garage on Am Anger. In the rest of the area, mixed (residential and commercial) uses and uses typical of core areas are permitted.
The planning permits the construction of a high point at the Am Anger/Lutherplatz intersection.
The central island square is designed as a traffic-calmed area that is connected to the surrounding streetscape by various access lanes.
Realization status
The Steinweg / Am Anger office building was constructed and has been in use since 2021. The campus is under construction [as of September 2025].
