Development plan B-Lo "Lobeda-Ost allotment garden site" legally binding
After the city council's decision to approve the development plan and the decision to approve the land use plan amendment no. 9 "Allotment gardens Lobeda-Ost" was not objected to by the state administrative office, the development plan B-Lo 12 "Allotment garden site Lobeda-Ost" became legally binding by public announcement in the official gazette of the city of Jena no. 48/24 (PDF).
The purpose of the development plan is to designate a new area for a permanent allotment garden site. In doing so, the city of Jena is fulfilling its obligation under Section 14 (1) of the Federal Allotment Garden Act (BkleingG) to provide replacement areas for permanent allotment gardens that will no longer be available in the future due to a development plan procedure for a planned residential or commercial development or due to other uses permitted under planning law, e.g. for nature conservation reasons (location in floodplain areas, etc.). In addition to the designation of replacement garden areas, the aim of the planning is to create a green area for residents to spend time in and go for walks.
