Plan content
The garden development concept of the city of Jena, which was updated in 2024, stipulates that individual allotment gardens are to be abandoned in favor of renaturation or the development of residential building land. In accordance with Section 1 of the Federal Allotment Garden Act, the municipality is obliged to provide corresponding replacement areas.
The development plan designates an allotment garden site for up to 100 plots. In addition, both the development including parking spaces and the protected biotope will be secured and public pathways will be designated.
The land use plan (FNP) was adapted via an amendment procedure as FNP amendment no. 9 "Allotment gardens Lobeda-Ost".
Realization status
Implementation of the project has not yet begun. [As at: November 2024]
