The designation of the planning area was made with the aim of meeting the urgent demand for housing at that time. On the approx. 12.2 ha large area, areas were designated for the construction of single, double, terraced and multi-family houses.

One of the urban planning objectives was to achieve a staggering of the building structures by specifying building heights, thus taking into account the special features of the topography.

In addition, a commercial and service centre was designated in order to lend a special attractiveness to the newly developing residential area. The area of the trade and service centre was designated as a special area in the draft land use plan.

Necessary compensatory measures were implemented both in the plan area and within an additionally designated 2nd area of application.

The site is fully developed (September 2007).
