Anniversary year 2021 - 50 years of urban development funding

The Day of Urban Development will take placenationwide on 08.05.2021. Due to thecorona pandemic , no events or tours are planned in Jena as part of this event. In 2021, the anniversary "50 years of urban development funding" is the focus of the day of action and refers tothe diverse funding programsof urban development funding, which have beenconstantly adapted to new challenges in urban development over the past decades . Since 2020, there have been the three federal and state programs "Vibrant Centres", "Social Cohesion" and "Growth and Sustainable Renewal", which alsotake current cross-cutting tasks such as adapting to climate change into account. The city of Jena benefits from all three programs in its funding areas.
