VBB-J 33 Living with a view - Friedensberg Terraces (Jena South)

On the basis of the winning competition design by the architectural firm Junk & Reich from Weimar, a concept was developed that became the basis for the project-related development plan. The central idea was to create a modern residential area while carefully incorporating the topography. The planning responds to this by staggering the heights accordingly.

On the area of the project-related development plan "Living with a view - Friedensberg Terraces", the construction of 10 multi-family houses in open construction with a total of approx. 100 residential units was planned.

The traffic-technical development was planned from the Friedrich-Schelling-Straße. Vehicle traffic is bundled via the underground car park entrance of the residential area, so that car traffic can be reduced in large parts of the residential area. The residential area itself is accessed via the central "Anger".

The project has been implemented and is in use (as of January 2018).
