Plan content
The reason for the planning was to create high-quality and attractive building land within the city of Jena in order to counter the increasing migration of young families in particular to the surrounding areas of Jena. While denser development is planned in the northern part of the planning area, where terraced houses, semi-detached houses and, in some cases, multi-family houses are permitted, a more dispersed development with detached and semi-detached houses is planned in the southern part. With the 1st simple amendment, design specifications were adapted.
The preservation and enhancement of the central orchard meadow is a key component of the green planning. In addition, the occurrence of various bat species was taken into account and existing flight corridors were preserved. Great importance was also attached to the greening of the streets in order to enhance the emerging residential area.
Realization status
The planning area is almost completely developed and built on. Only a small section has not yet been developed.
